Vaccine Schedule & Administration

  • Three-dose primary series: 0, 1-3 months, 5-12 months after second dose.
  • Rapid schedule: Possible for last-minute travellers (consult specialist).
  • Boosters: Every 3-5 years if ongoing risk.

Common side effects:

Fever, headache, muscle pain (more common in children).

Who cannot have the vaccine?

  • Those with severe egg allergies (vaccine contains egg protein).
