Vaccine Schedule & Administration
- Single dose: Provides protection for about 5 years.
- Booster: May be needed after 5 years for ongoing risk.
- Required for Hajj: Must be administered at least 10 days before travel.
Common side effects:
Sore arm, mild fever, headache (1-2 days).
Who cannot have the vaccine?
- Those with severe allergies to vaccine components.
